The Team

Carson Wright

Meet Carson, born into the wine industry, he has been immersed in it since day one. As a child and young adult, Carson worked as part of the vineyard crew and cellar team at his family winery. Working harvests and seeing the vintages all the way through to bottling, Carson has a deep understanding of wine production.

After graduating from Portland State university with dual degrees in Business and Human Resources, Carson began his wine packaging career as the Northwest Sales Consultant at Cork Supply USA. Here Carson quickly became a top-performing salesperson, managing and growing a multi-million-dollar territory. During this time Carson built strong relationships with key accounts, paving the way for his continued success.

Moving on to become Sales Manager, Pacific Northwest at Saxco International, Carson continued to excel, managing accounts, and developing new business in the Northwest wine region. His exceptional contributions earned him recognition and multiple sales achievement awards.

In 2017, Carson joined the Ardagh Group as Manager of National Account Services, where he was responsible for building the direct sales division of Ardagh Direct in the Pacific Northwest region. Carson was one of the first salespeople hired at Ardagh Direct and was a key player in developing strategies to meet market demands. Carson showed his expertise by quickly building a double digit million-dollar territory within 2 years.

In 2020 the opportunity presented itself for Carson to return to his family winery, Ken Wright Cellars, as General Sales Manager. Here Carson built a strategic plan on top of an iconic brand, focused on overcoming past and current obstacles, creating efficiency and strategies in production planning, and creating new go to market sales strategies. The result was a 100% increase in case sales within 3 years. Carson continues to work for Ken Wright Cellars as a sales and operations consultant.

When Carson isn’t helping wineries execute their branding and production planning needs, you can find him spending time with his wife, two children, and dogs. Passionate about food and wine, Carson is an avid cook and enjoys exploring wines from regions around the world.

Jeffrey Oberti

Meet Jeffrey, a sales leader with over 16 years of experience in the glass container industry. With a strong track record in demand planning, inventory management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and creating SOPs, Jeffrey is a change agent with a reputation for delivering results.

Jeffrey’s expertise in the wine industry is rooted in both his upbringing and his agribusiness education with a minor in Wine & Viticulture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. He was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, where his family farmed cotton, grapes and tree fruit. This upbringing and education helped Jeffrey to understand what was important to farmers and fueled his passion to join the wine industry.

Jeffrey’s professional career began in 2006 as an Account Manager at Trilogy Glass & Packaging, where he honed his skills in account management and new business development. Jeff was a top salesperson at Trilogy. He was credited with opening 300 new commercial accounts, and he was instrumental in introducing Chinese import glass into the American market during his time at Trilogy. Jeff’s success helped to raise the market value of the Trilogy, which was then sold to TricorBraun in 2012.

Upon the sale of Trilogy, Jeffrey joined Saxco International in 2012 as an Account Manager where he quickly excelled and became one of the most awarded salespeople. Through his understanding of both the customer market and of the supply chain based on his previous experience at Trilogy, Jeffrey helped Saxco build their own Chinese glass import program. The Chinese import program quickly became a core part of Saxco’s wine division.

In 2017 Jeffrey was hired by the Ardagh Group as the VP of Sales to help develop and launch their direct sales division, Ardagh Direct. During his tenure, he consistently exceeded revenue and margin goals while managing a team of seasoned sales professionals. Jeffrey developed his skills for managing production planning processes, drove changes to standard operating procedures that brought value to customers, and created new mould offerings to meet market demands.

Jeff’s strong work ethic and understanding of the variables involved in the manufacturing of glass containers make him a trusted advisor to his clients. He is a change agent with a desire to deliver results and build long-lasting relationships.

Outside of packaging work, Jeffrey is an avid hunter, fisher, and world traveler. Any time he has a chance to plan an adventure to a new location, you can be sure he will be doing his research to find the best places to enjoy the amazing food and wine that the region has to offer. He also is a longtime diehard SF Giants and 49ers fan, attending as many games a year as he can.
